Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds. We have crafted this Safari to give you an opportunity to go Chimp Trekking, birding, meet the Rhinos, get exclusive game drives and sunset cruises on River Nile, all in one affordable package. This safari can be upgraded to luxury safari to include stay in 5 Star lodges and connecting flights between parks.

Day 1. Arrival In Entebbe

Our staff will meet you at Entebbe International Airport and drive you to the hotel. If you flight arrives in the morning or afternoon, we will go coffee and take a relaxing walk around Lake Victoria later in the evening. Accommodation at Lake Victoria Hotel

Day 2. Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park

Early Morning you will have breakfast from the Hotel. Embark on the Safari journey, the first stop over while be in Nakasongola for a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see the rhinos. The Rhino Sanctuary currently has 14 rhinos and offers the unique experience of learning more about repopulation efforts under way. We will have lunch and continue to the Park, check in to your accommodation. Accommodation atSambiya River Lodge

Day 3. Game Drives and Launch Trip

After breakfast, we will go for the first game drive in search for lions, as well as elephants, giraffes and other wildlife. After lunch, embark on the three-hour launch trip to the base of the Murchison Falls. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles, bathing buffalo and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls as well as some of the world’s rarest vegetation. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures, carry your camera with you. Travel back to the hotel to relax and for overnight accommodation.

Day 4 Chimp Trekking, Birding and more Game Viewing

Meet the chimps! Get an early start to catch chimps leaving their nests in the Budongo Forest, looking out for other primates and forest bird species along the way. Also look out for the Black and white Colobus Monkey, Red tailed Monkey, Baboon and Grey Cheeked Manga bay and other primates that inhabit Budongo Forest.

Day 5 Return to Entebbe / Kampala

We drive out toward Kampala early morning. You can take pictures as we drive out at a relaxed pace. We will arrive in Kampala late afternoon. Airport drop-off can be arranged free of charge, if you are flying out on the last day of the safari. If you have other activities planned, please let us know and we will send you a driver for Airport drop-off at a later date.
