Kibale National Park.

Kibale Forest National park is one of the best safari destination in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Its primarily found in Uganda. The density and diversity of primates in Kibale National Park is the highest in the whole of Africa. Its famous for 13 species are the chimpanzees, our closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 chimpanzee indicate Uganda’s biggest population of this threatened primate.

Murchison Falls National Park.

Murchison Falls National park is situated in the northern part of Albertine Rift Valley,  place where the massive Bunyoro escarpment amalgamate into the enormous plains of Acholi land. It is well known to be one of Uganda’s ancient conservation areas.

Besides the wildlife safari in the northern part of the park where game safari such as lion, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, bushbucks among others are seen roaming in the vast savannah, Murchison Falls National Park also covers a big part of Budongo Forest which is a hub for various primates. Chimpanzee tracking,  which is one of the most exciting primate tracking adventure.

Nile Safari Lodge

Paara Lodge

Baker’s Lodge, opened in 2015, features eight safari-style cottages on raised platforms perched along the south bank of the Nile River, which transects Murchison Falls National Park…

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” also protects an estimated 450 gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups, which can be tracked.

This biologically diverse region also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. There are around  300 bird species also hosted in this forest, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics.

The neighboring towns of Buhoma and Nkuringo both have an impressive array of Luxury lodges, mid-range, Budget campsites and Bandas as well as restaurants, craft stalls and guiding services.

Buhoma Lodge

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge

Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. The park’s varsity ecosystem, which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species, including the chimpanzee and over 500 bird species.
