ABOUT UGANDAN VISAS
Ugandan visas are issued at designated Missions/Embassies abroad and also at the Entry/Exit Points e.g. Entebbe, Busia, Malabaetc.. Underlying the Uganda Visa Policy is the principle of reciprocity, that is all countries that require visas for Ugandans are also visa prone in Uganda. VISA CHECKLIST
In order to qualify for a visa application, all intending travelers to Uganda must have:
- An International Vaccination Certificate against Cholera (recommended, not required).
- An International Inoculation Certificate against Yellow Fever.
- A valid passport issued by your government. The passport must be valid past the date of your expected departure from Uganda.
- Two (2) passport-size photographs
You must obtain a Uganda Government VISA before entry into Uganda.
To obtain a Uganda Government VISA the following are required: Fill out both sides of Visa Application Form “J”. Submit your passport and two (2) passport-size photographs.

RWANDA VISA AND PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

A passport valid for 6 months is required from the date of entry by all nationals. The passport must also have one blank space for stamps.

VISAS
Visas for Rwanda are required by all nationals from the countries referred above. Nationals of the UK, USA, Sweden, Australia and Germany can purchase visas on arrival. All the others nationals must obtain the visa in advance before the trip.
Travelers need a yellow fever vaccination certificate if they are travelling from yellow fever endemic countries and or countries with active yellow fever outbreaks.

If your planning to visit other East African Countries (Uganda, Kenya), it’s advisable you obtain an East African Cross border joint visa that allows entry into the three countries on a single visa.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to check with the embassy for more information.
Important to Note: A single entry visa is also available for nationals who don’t have a Rwandan Consulate or Embassy in their country. If this applies to you, you can request the visa online.
